Pradeep Singh, son of a farmer from Haryana, topped Civil Services 2019, was ranked 260th last year.
The Union Public Service Commission released the results of the Civil Service Examination-2019 on Tuesday. The commission also released a list of selected candidates after conducting interviews between Corona Epidemic and Lockdown. This time Pradeep Sukhbir Singh, a resident of Sonepat, Haryana, has won this prestigious examination of the country. Coming from a farmer's family, Pradeep has finally fulfilled his and his family's dream with his hard work and dedication.
Pradeep, son of Sukhbir Singh, a two-time Sarpanch of Tewari village in Sonepat, Haryana, had also passed the civil service exam last year but due to poor rank he was doing IRS training in Faridabad and also during the training. Continued his studies and preparation.
After passing 12th from Shambhu Dayal in 2008, Pradeep obtained BTech degree from Murthal University in 2012. He then continued his preparation and passed the SSC examination, after which he started his first job as an income tax officer. He spent five years in Delhi while holding this post.
According to Pradeep, 'I had taken the UPSC exam four times. Last year, I got 260th rank and then I was posted as Indian Revenue Officer in Faridabad.
Pradeep Singh said that it was very difficult for him to study and do a job at the same time. My focus was on completing the given course every day. UPSC demands continuity and after a while I felt I would not be able to do it but my father encouraged me.
